The Larrakia Trade Training Centre was officially launched in March last year at a successful event held at the Medina Vibe Hotel, which was attended by over 120 business people including senior representatives from INPEX, government representatives and the media.

A Commemorative Certificate was signed during the event by; INPEX President (now Chairman) Mr Naoki Kuroda, Federal Resources Minister Mr Martin Ferguson, NT Chief Minister Mr Paul Henderson and (then) Chairman of the Larrakia Development Corporation, Mr Koolpinyah Barnes.
